8th Grade News
8th grade parents if you have not done so already, please be sure to check your email for a 2021 Confirmation update. Thank you to all the families that have already submitted their child’s Confirmation Candidate form! Please remember that if your child’s sponsor is not a member of SSCM/St James, we will need the Confirmation Testimony form returned (email, dropped in the parish drop box, or mailed), signed by the sponsor’s pastor. Visit the “Sacraments” tab on our website www.re.stcyril.org to fill out the Confirmation Candidate form. The Confirmation fee is also payable online.
8th graders should be working on their Saint Report and Bishop Letter. Please reach out to your catechist if you have any questions. Don’t forget to continue working on earning service hours.

Sakrament Bierzmowania do którego przygotowujemy się intensywnie, jest jakby maturą z życia duchowego młodego człowieka który decyduje się dobrowolnie przyjąć dary Ducha Świętego i korzystać z nich.
Prowadzimy dwupasmową edukację w tym zakresie. Studenci korzystają z platformy “My Catholic Faith Delivered” gdzie bardzo ciekawie opracowane są zagadnienia z zakresu funkcjonowania i misji Kościoła , jego roli i znaczenia poszczególnych Sakramentów , symboli i poznania Pisma Świetego oraz Katechizmu.
Z kolei w każdy czwartek o godz 6:30 pm mamy internetową lekcję po polsku, gdzie skupiamy się na relacji naszej z Panem Bogiem. Jest to bardzo wazna lekcja , gdyż jest dopełnieniem edukacji teoretycznej. Poruszamy wiele tematów związanych bezpośrednio z wzrostem i formacją duchową.
Jesteśmy pełni nadziei że wkrótce będziemy spotykac się na żywo w klasie szkolnej.
